Document Summary

So cells used to be micro mere (special determinants), these guys become migratory and ingress into blastoceal. Once they ingress, they are followed by invagination. The cavity of blastoceal is lined by ecm (basal lamina). So cells in vegital plate, if they want to migrate in, have to loose their affinity for hyaline layer and gain affininty for basal lamina. They also must loose cell/cell adhesion junctions ie cadherens. So cells that ingress have to break cadheren junction, and also must start expressing receptors for basal lamina. So these primary mesechymal cells have to begin to express mols that interfere with cadheren mols and express mols that cause the expression of integrins to allow them to move into basal lamina. Inhibition of cadheren and expression of integrin is due to the fact that these cells have b catenin. So b catenin turns on genes that interfere with cadherens and turn on intgerins.
