Helps determine what is going to be done in a study and what direction research will go. A lot of sex research depends on multiple theories and di erent sources of research. Sigmund freud (1856-1939) created the theory of psychoanalysis and theorized that sex drive is an important life force. This theory focuses on our subconscious and how our interactions with people occur. Theorized by b. f. skinner (1952) who thought that our actions and consequences of behaviour in uence our behaviours from that experience onward.
