Assigned female at birth puberty: begins when the pituitary gland initiates release of fsh (follicular. Menstruation: uterine lining is shed if no pregnancy; tissue and blood are released. The whole cycle takes an average of 28 days. The female maturation and menstrual cycle is controlled by the hypothalamus in the brain and stimulated by gonadotropin-releasing hormone (gnrh) which tells the pituitary gland to release. 4 tablespoons: anything more than that is usually considered cause for concern, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, extreme version of pms, can interfere with a person"s functioning. Those with existing anxiety or depression can have those symptoms worsened by this disorder. However, we can relieve many physical symptoms related to menstruation and there are many manipulation and/or suppression strategies for the menstrual cycle.
