This is referred to as cisgender: transgender describes people whose gender identity is not the same as the sex they were assigned at birth. At around 5-7 weeks of development during pregnancy the fetus begins the process of sexual di erentiation. Sex chromosomes x and y initiate the process and the development of sex organs.
