International alliances (social media facilitates spread of ideas) Male and females were not conceptualized as different bodies until in the nineteenth century, scientists started looking at different bodies/skeletons/organs and this became a way to identify males and better than females. Scientists kept looking at why women are different. Essentialist views claim there is an inherent characteristic about a group or type of person. Biological determinist views tells us that biology determines behaviour. White black and asian were the three main races.
