Doesn"t mean its true but it should be taken seriously. Newspapers and magazines are not scholarly sources > not peer reviewed. How can you tell if somethings scholarly. If it"s in an academic journal: the date that it is published depends on the eld it"s about. (ex. medical articles go out of date in less than 5 years, etc. )
