Two questions have dominated the field of criminology for a long time. And more recently, a third one has emerged and is gaining in importance. Cybercrime: offences where a computer is the object of a crime or tool used to commit crime. Street crime: all violent crime, certain property crimes, and certain moral crimes (i. e. robbery, assault, breaking and entering) Violent crime: involves force or the threat of force against others, including murder, sexual assault and robbery. Property crimes: including breaking and entering, theft, motor vehicle theft, arson. Morals crimes: illegal action voluntarily engaged in by the participants such as prostitution, illegal gambling, use of illegal drugs. Occupational or white collar crime: illegal activities committed by people in the course of their employment or in dealing with financial affairs.
