The ethnic fractionalization index measures the probability that two randomly selected people from the same country are not of the same ethnic linguistic, or cultural group. Approximately 55% of respondents in an opinion poll indicated that multiculturalism is good. Could be a response from those races considered supreme . Worried about the erosion of national/common identity. And: culture includes: how we think, how we act, what we own material possessions. In effect, everything we create with our hands and our minds. Material culture: physical creations that members of a society make, use, and share. Everything from zippers to our homes and satellites in space. Nonmaterial culture: abstract human creations of society that influence people"s behavior.
