Its invisible because you"re not supposed to know you have this knapsack: other people aren"t supposed to explicitly acknowledge it either. I can choose blemish cover or bandages in flesh color and have them more or less match my skin. I am white, clean: philando castile, asked to see registration, tells cop he has a weapon but wasn"t pulling it out, was shoot when he reached to get something. Primordialism and sociobiology: boundaries drawing based on blood-ties, race as discrete, fixed, biological characteristic, people perceived to have common genetic heritage stick together for survival, humans have a biological impulse to pass on their genetic heritage. So they feel an attachment with people they believe are from the same genetic pool or race group members sought each other out because they share a common genetic heritage and therefore share similar impulses, feelings, and characteristics.
