Freedom is found at different times and in different forms: not exclusively dependent on one social state, in more than just democracies. Equality is particular to democracies: ppl prefer it over rest bc it is distinctive to age they live, men hold onto equality bc think would last forever and bc. In ages of equality every man finds his beliefs within himself and his feelings are turned in on himself.
