Document Summary

Your salience landscape is not the object of landscape, it"s the unconsciously preselected landscape: a whole bunch of things are going to influence your salience landscape: past experience. If there is dysfunction in us, there will be some dysfunction in our salience landscape: for the most part, we operate through them (it becomes invisible to us because we got used to it) Unconscious preselected landscape: the idea that bandura talked about, but not in this language, bandura put it all together and helped us understand how it coalescent in certain beliefs, they are organized/biologically embedded in our systems. Core beliefs: two ways of talking about core belief: core beliefs and cognitive distortions. These are sort of different things, but they function exactly the same way. Cb + cd = guides how we see the world. They generally pop up in our worst moments: eg. I"m not good enough; i"m not really significant.
