Document Summary

Reasoning: using information to determine if a conclusion is valid or reasonable. If i decide to become a doctor, will i make a lot of money? . Deductive reasoning: you reason from the general to the specific, by using a belief or ru to determine if a conclusion is valid. Inductive reasoning: you reason from the specific to the general, by using examples or instances to determine if a conclusion is likely to be true. Both types of reasoning have their flaws, and can at times lead to inappropriate conclusions. Decision making: attempting to select the best alternative among several options. Problem solving: finding a way around an obstacle to reach a goal. When i watch tv, i channel surf, often scanning through the options even while attempting to watch one program. I treat relationships like clothing: i expect to try a lot on before i get the perfect fit.
