Document Summary
Everything up to and including viscosity in my part, there is no calculations. Surface excess amount n^s (s=surface) =n0 (calpha valpha+ cbetavbeta) N=is the total number of moles of solute in phases alpha and beta total amount of material in system. Calpha and cbeta are the bulk concentrations of the solute in phases alpha and beta respectively, these are the bulk concentrations. Valpha and vbeta are the volumes of the phases alpha and beta. Once we start having deviations from horizontal behavior as we approach the interface, Calphavalpha will not be equal to actual number of moles in phase alpha. If we have ideal behavior and we have positive adsorption n^s=n (calphavalpha- If gamma is positive we have accumulation=positive adsorption, if ve then negative adsorption then 0=indifference. The sum will not give you total amount just because you don"t have horizontal line up to interface, then you have to integrate this distribution.
