Important exception metabolism of ethyl alcohol (zero order, constant rate: eg. time to excrete half of the amount of drug remaining in someone"s body, first order kinetics: Inhalation: nasal, pulmonary: topical: transdermal, sublingual, intra-ocular, etc, slow, skin is not very porous.
