Ast201 lecture one stars and galaxies. Fritz zwicky (1898 1974: zwicky"s colleagues thought his missing mass idea was a bit nutty, he wasn"t real happy about that. Vera rubin (1928 2016) - in a spiral galaxy, the ratio of dark to-light matter is about a factor of ten. That"s probably a good number for the ratio of our ignorance-to knowledge.
