In 2014, we landed a probe on a comet for the first time. When they come into the inner solar system and warm up they outgas (evaporates and strays out in jets) Solar winds are made of the comets outgassing and dragging out in a tail. The tail will always point away from the sun. Comets have two tails, light from the sun gently pushes on the comet and produces a second dust tail and curves away.
