Culture: what we learn from each other vs. what was programmed by our genes, culture can be what"s imposed to us biologically. Cultural universal and particulars: cultures are significantly different, but not infinitely different, human cultures have more in common than not. Language: a distinctively human resource and central element of culture, used for, communication and cooperation, adapting to the natural and social environment, signification (making meanings) , structure our imagination, how we see the word, each other, and ourselves. Language and languages: like cultures, languages have more in common than not, nouns and verbs, there"re no languages when reversing it doesn"t reverse the word order. Recep: universals and divisions: language and culture are human universals, but specific languages and specific cultures are human particulars, universals (language, culture) are innate, transmitted via genes (largely through talk, particulars (language, cultures) are learned, transmitted.
