Going out gathering stuff in the woods, hunting animals. Growing things on a really small scale, planting and tending, not massive agricultural spread, planting things and growing. Large herds of animals and they are nomadic (not a particularly fixed place to live) Stable, one place, planting things, larger scale because of animals and technology. One particular place where the work is happening and people come to these places to work. Instead of having people make individual products, machines are being used to make large number of things rapidly. Detach from their labour, alienation and isolation. No longer responsible for creating product from start to finish, focused on one specialized skill. Working for somebody who pays you money. Euro in europe, integrated market to have common courtesy to do exchanges more easily. Companies want to be more flexible for short term contracts. Don"t have to invest in making sure they provide jobs for a long term job.
