Harm reduction therapy: alan marlatt conducted research on this type of therapy in order to prevent substance abuse, focuses on controlling and reducing drinking behaviours rather than abstinence. Types of substances used: glue, correction fluid, spray paint, cosmetics, gasoline, household aerosol sprays, nitrous oxide.
