Document Summary

Chorion is formed from the trophoblast and mesoderm and extends into the endometrium via chorionic villi. The body stalk (eventually the umbilical cord) connects the embryo to the chorion. The developing embryo starts to have a connection with the reproduction tissue. This pinches off the yolk sac which is the embryo sac. Embryology summary 28. 6 the development of the nervous system. Somites are segmental developmental blocks responsible for formation of bone, muscle, and connective tissue (only found in vertebrates). The endoderm provides most of the linings for the structures produced by the mesoderm. Neurulation is the formation of the nervous system which is derived from the ectoderm layer. The dermal and hypodermal are derived from the mesoderm. Only the upper stratified layer is derived from ectoderm. It looks like it is derived from mesoderm from an adult due to its location.
