The policy agenda of the government and some non-governmental actors are progressing with what they believe are most beneficial to the community to reverse the effects of climate change. Argument 1 made in support of thesis (1-2 sentences) The officials believed that if communities knew about the environmental problems, they would do something in order to reverse them. Argument 2 made in support of thesis (1-2 sentences not necessary for all readings) With traditional views being ineffective, there was belief that if policies were based off of individual"s knowledge and concerns, it would be more effective. Summary of evidence supporting argument 1 (1-2 sentences) The public was ignorant about the issues and was also not as knowledgeable as the government thought they would be. Because there was no education for the issues, they were not aware of how severe the problems were. Summary of evidence supporting argument 2 (1-2 sentences)
