Document Summary

Free will could have acted otherwise moral responsibility. Determinism can"t avoid any actions not morally responsible. Determinism and free will has an apparent conflict . Maybe this means that the actions are random and due to pure chance. Maybe we could have an idea of undetermined action that we have chosen ourselves (i choose my action). Either it is an accident the way i chose to act, or it isn"t. , my action was somehow caused by me, or you could say it"s random. Maybe freedom actually means consciousness of necessity , however, ayer doesn"t think that it right. He says if we are conscious of the necessity can we master"it? . Think about what it means to not be free . For it is not i think; causality that freedom is to be contrasted with but constraint. ayer says. Not all caused actions are constrained actions, only some are constrained.
