Document Summary

A lot of thing that happens on the surface is depended on the core of the earth. Earthquakes produce energy, where it transmits through the body of the planet. That very same energy stream can be mapped in terms of geography and time and help us reconstruct what is down in the middle of earth. We can focus on different types of energy: p and s waves. Two terms that you need to focus on for instruments of measuring the: seismogram (instrument used for measuring earthquake energy) and seismograph(the graph/print out/data measured by seismogram). There are earth"s surface zones where these energies do not reach and they are called p and s wave "shadow zones". If you are to go down like "joueles verne"; famous science fiction writer; wrote "the journey to the centre of the earth". Geothermal heat flux: slow release of heat from the body of the planet to the surface.
