cord or testis

- after the food enters the stomach and passes through the mechanical
processes + gastric juices
- the food becomes → chyme
CHEMICAL PROCESSES WITHIN THE STOMACH: GASTRIC PITS
- the stomach has gastric pits that comes in 3 types:
- Parietal cells
- Chief cells
- mucous cells
