Usually includes a dwelling, a car, some appliances, and furniture, and some savings . Wealth is power or the ability to achieve goals. Income and wealth often go together but not always. There is a lot of resistance to welfare state. The reason why a lot of people are unhappy because of raising taxes is because raising taxes results in inequality (the rich don"t get bene ts and the poor do)
