A psychological that represents your evaluations- your like vs. dislike- of people, objects, and ideas. We all have attitudes about most things we experience in our daily live. So your emotional reactions to an object, person or idea. How much you like/dislike an object usually triggers some kind of emotional response. Behaviors: this is the most observable part of an attitude. We have a bunch of ways to measure attitudes. Self report measures: show me stuff and ask how i feel. Likert scale- scale that has a question, bunch of anchors like (somewhat, not at all) and you can rate. Very easy way to get a(cid:374) attitude (cid:272)ause it"s self-reported. Implicit measures: indirect measures of attitudes that does not involve self-report the(cid:396)e"s a fe(cid:449) diff (cid:449)a(cid:455)s to do this. Can measure the latency of response: time might suggests uncertainty, fast- might be because you really like it or really hate it.
