In day to day forensic science work hypothesis testing is replaced by analysis of samples + interpretation of results: although this is applied work it can still follows basic rules of science: Important: science theories can never be proved, only disproved, always the possibility that a new experiment will conflict w/ a long-standing theory. Important when using lang in reports when testifying: ex impaired driving trials. Even though believes that nobody at that level wouldn"t be impaired, can"t use lang.
