Early morning male snowmobile is riding down the street when he sees a house on fire. He tries to enter but cant due to the flames, he tried to get into the fire station but saw that it was a volunteer one (nobody was there) Daughter was at a friends house so she was alive, but her family was dead. Role of forensic identification officer at a fatal fire scene: slides. Equipment you may need: safety equipment. Breathing apparatus: video camera/camera, 3d scanner, mason jars/arson bags (different from paper bags because they don"t breathe) This way, they go into the scene and get information before the scene is altered or being touched: criminal fire become in charge and fire marshall then assists them. Keeping exhibits, etc. logged is the forensic officer"s. Fire marshal resp responsibility: investigate fires and explosions, expert testimony.
