Everyone has a difference in opinion on environmental problems: Interdisciplinary communication is very difficult however communication about environmental issues is further complicated by difference in language and worldviews. Example; technosphere is manufacturing, agriculture, transportation and production of energy whereas ecosphere is the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere which have a conflict" between them because they are opposing views. Rapid, extensive changes in past 50 years, likely to worsen. Net gains in human development/economies, but at a cost. Reversing degradation of ecosystems will require significant changes. Ecosystem services include: regulating, provision and supporting as well as cultural services. Populations, poverty, and over-consumption are root problems; consumption of resources rising faster than population and due to poverty, people sell off environmental assets to survive. We need resources and functioning natural systems. Use of resources needs to satisfy current needs without compromising future availability of resources. We must conserve earth"s natural resources and maintain fully functioning ecological systems.
