More work for mother: look at household domestic appliances used in the 20s, cultural expectations spending more time on doing these things because the social expectations are higher, e. g. clean pressed clothes. Overcoming limits of the body exceeding the limit horizon. Space: do more in a shorter amount of time, maximize time alive and time awake, get us further faster, be in more than one place at a time, experience other places from everywhere.
