Ethnicity: ethnos: a nation, nation is a latin term. Nation is routed into birth, natural, biological bias. In anthropology: it was considered a scientific concept till wwii. Right to the formation of the un and proclamation of human rights. Race looks a the social and cultural aspects. The biological end looks at the superficial differences. Inclusive principles applied in society a: the law has to be applied evenly, citizens vs. aliens / foreigners, segementary. Works on degree of differences and closeness. Various criteria are used to determine closeness or distance. For example social status is determined though distance from the chief: criteria for determining degrees of closeness, organized by principle of nepotism. Nepotism is favoring friends and relatives when it comes to jobs. In canada you are expected to be treated evenly, but when they go to other places they see that nepotism is the law in other countries.
