A set of organized rules and status and set patterns. A group is made of specific people and institution is made of rules and standardized ways of doing something. When we talk about our own or others family we are taking about people with names and faces. The family is the standardized patterned of behaviors. The family is the keystone of human life, family is the most important thing in the lives of canadians. Typical canadian family mom-dad-two kids idealized image of the family. Diversity changed and complexity, gay couples, single partners, stepparents. No doesn"t account for same sex parents or single parents. Doesn"t account for extended family, grandparents living in the same house with the family. Doesn"t account for adoptive kids or unmarried couples with children.
