The scientific method is equivalent to the deductive approach and can be present in social research. Won"t capture the stories, feelings, emotions of the people being studied. Steps that we can follow in a research project: define the research project/topic, literature review, write the research question/objectives, select a methodology, collect data, analysis of data, dissemination of the results, define the research topic. Most important: find something you are interested in. Questions to ask yourself: what makes me angry, moves me, makes me passionate, what is the impact you would like your study to have on society or a group of people. Make a clearer statement, stronger proposal, ask a more solid research question, make a better literature review-find more specific articles and studies: literature review. Finding out if your study has already been done, how you could add to what was already written.
