There are so many terms and words that we associate with genitals. Language is important when talking about sexuality because it conveys meaning. There is a time and place to use these words. We are taut that these are private, not to be talked about so if we do, its taboo, it"s a shame, not to be talked about. This is when kids start to learn about themselves and their bodies - they learn through play. When you take barbies, and strip them naked, and see nothing. The everyday adults had to talk to them about it. We need to teach them the real terms. The language helps them learn and understand the meanings and functions of these parts. Taught what to think and to feel through language. We give them the tools to understand their bodies and words to describe their experience. We give them an attitude in which they adopt in regards to their bodies.
