Definition: the need for varied, novel, and complex sensations and experiences and the willingness to take physical and social risks for the sake of such experiences. Extroverts enjoy the company of many people and enjoy parties. Sensation seekers are susceptible to boredom and constantly looking for new experiences and intense stimulation (enjoy a jolt to the senses) Low sensation seekers: are less responsive and unlikely to repeat or be attracted to the experience: however, sensation seekers will develop a tolerance to the same old rewards and will need to seek out new stimulation/rewards.
