Models: people who irst display a behaviour o real symbolic: e. g. reading about something that somebody does, a picture, etc. Observers: person who watches/sees/hears/reads about the behaviour of the model o o o passive: just observing acive: trying to do the same thing as the model, consciously. Imitaion: behaviour change traced to modelled behaviour o. Change can be: immediate delayed never: behaviour can remain dormant o. E. g. someone gets up and runs out of the door franically everyone else models because they think that something"s wrong. *important heading and items to know for exam: observaional learning. More likely to have good imitaion if model"s behaviour is close to what we can already do. Eicient and fast method of learning new behaviours: inhibitory and disinhibitory efects. Change in the probability of expressing a behaviour that is already in one"s repertoire.
