Deaf children"s language: deaf children develop language even when they have, minimal input: Later than hearing children, but do develop. Homesing: home version of sign language, develops later, quite sophisticated. Ex, simon, parents were deaf also deaf as well, they learnt. American sign language when they were older, therefore they were not fluent and there were errors, simon out performed both of his parents when tested, therefore they are disposition to understand rules. Getting ready to talk: receptivity to language: newborn sensitive to speech.
