Document Summary

A permanent change in behaviours, thoughts, emotions etc. as a result of experience. Learning to form associations between 2 events or 2 stimuli. We learn that one event signals the arrival of another. Participate events and prepare for upcoming events. He studied the role of salivating and digestion in dogs. He came up with classical conditions because he notices that dogs associated i"m with food. So, in this study, the food was the unconditioned stimulus and the salvation was the unconditioned response (meaning that it happens naturally) The bell (before associated with anything) is the neutral stimulus because it didn"t trigger any sort of reaction or salivation. So . pavlov would ring the bell and then give the dogs the food directly after. he repeated this process over and over and over again until the dogs learned to salivate at the sound of the bell.
