67 views7 pages

Document Summary

Nietzsche looked back to the early greeks, before both christianity and science. He initially thought of the philosopher as a position of culture. He saw his own philosophy as emerging as both a diagnosis of the sickness/crisis of his time and also the search for a cure. Nobody has excited a wider range of interests. Like st. paul (whom he both hated and admired), nietzsche has become all things to all people that he deserved what he got at the end. Some thought of him as ruthless, manipulative, etc. Others thought of him as a prophet, a poet, etc. Some suggest that his was a satanic mind that was anti-christ . (cid:498)can anything be good that attracts so many flaws(cid:499) nietzsche. Nietzsche"s philosophy is so relevant to our modern times that he is really our soul sought to overcome them through a new vision contemporary, not the contemporary of his time.
