Focus on certain elements and choose a selection of songs to use as evidence. Journalistic piece of writing can use less formal language, but should still sound like something read from a newspaper. Laura office hour on thursday/alyssa can meet on monday night (scheduled meeting) & garfunkel: guitar, vocals, rich harmonies, simple musical texture, acoustic, original version. The sound of silence , overdubbed version, simon & garfunkel: folk-rock version, re-released in 1965, reached #1 in 1966, and was included on the album in 1966, drew on the popularity of folk-rock.
