Each team member offers their unique, discipline-specific contributions to the problem at hand & meet regularly to discuss them. While each discipline conducts their own initial assessment, these assessments are shared by the team & incorporated into the assessments of other team members. Integration of these contributions/interventions by all members are critical to treatment. Team members work together to achieve a common goal. Each team member may have their own, specific role in supporting the client within their scope of practice but their role influences the outcome and interventions of other team members. The success of this team is dependant on the team"s ability to collaborate to provide treatment and the interdependency on one another"s interventions. Team structure can vary depending on the work/treatment environment. Members of this team may comprise of various disciplines.
