Countries like the us do victimizations very often. Some patterns in victimization young males are victims of property crime. Need to be able to use prevalence rates one property crime for every 7 adults, one violent crime for every 15 adults. Household victimization incidents are basically property crimes. Crime rates in ottawa have come down quite a bit. People want to recover something; they want property back the main reason people are reporting property crime. Return of property is very low, police are not good at getting your property back. The way people report crime is also different police have a website (ottawa), to report crime: an additional reason for not reporting. Survey techniques used to be on landline phones methodological issues.
