Individuals who will find reintegration exceptionally hard or almost impossible wont be able to live a law biding life: lack the skills needed within society. Incarceration as familiar/secure our benefit and theirs: priso(cid:374) as (cid:862)se(cid:272)ure(cid:863) It"s (cid:374)ot so depri(cid:448)i(cid:374)g: halsey suggests that prisons are seen as secure environments, the deprivation model might not actually be the case.
