Proxemics and chronemics: use of space and time. Might give us an example and ask which concept it"s most consistent with or give us a concept and give us examples its consistent with. The videos will be related to the exam the serious videos. There are five interrelated theories when it comes to proxemics. There are four special zones/classification of space and distance. > social space: (where most of our professional business relations tend to take place about 10 to four feet from you) > public space: (10 feet to about 25 feet from you) > intimate space (0 proxemics = 0 space meaning there is some type of touching going examples includes: when you"re holding someone had, kissing someone etc. ) Level 0 means when you"re face to face with someone. (incomplete) When people tend to invade space literature shows that people try to avoid them.
