Communication: the transfer of information from one person to another. It is more than just words; includes facial gesture, feelings, voice in ections. Receiver: person for which message is intended. Challenge in communication are different perceptions / noise (body language, emotions, interruption, non-articulate). Barriers to effective communication are as follows: Selective perception: ignoring information that con icts with our own desires.
