Other issues: corporate sponsorship of media: not just news, paying news program that will influence the type of messages you will see, hidden censorship: gets to pick who is on the show. Hypothesis #1: representation: americans will be depicted as heroes and as liberators. Terrorists will be depicted as evil, irrational, and less than human. Hypothesis #2: power/strength: america, though shaken by the 9/11 attacks, will be depicted as strong and militarily superior.
