Social behaviour the degree people interact and influence one another. Other people influence our ideas, feelings and behaviours. We are not free agents that we think we are. Social psychologists study topics like interpersonal attraction, stereotypes and conformity. People dress similar to the dress style, this is an example of conformity. Culture and time period leads to conformity. People are sensitive to people who do not conform and it makes us sensitive to others opinions. People judge on physical characteristic to determine people with little knowledge of the actual personality, this is unconscious judgment. Person perception studies how we form impressions of other people. Although people may claim otherwise, physical appearance is important. Attractive people are rated positively on many traits (like conscientiousness) and abilities (like who is better at their job). They may get better jobs than less attractive people. Halo effect attractive person has a halo" and gets positive feedback on traits and abilities.
