Earliest type of society, hunting and gathering band. All over the world the earliest type pf society humans form is a band of less then a 100 people that hunt animals and eats fruits and vegetables. In social terms the band is a society of equality, they have no wealth so no rich people, no governments no powerful people, yes, a chief but he had the respect or high status in the tribe. He was chief because everyone agreed he should be since he was the smartest and the best. The band was a family, a large family, families share things like food, which is all they had. A society of equality including gender equality, they had roughly equal status, but there was a gender division of labour, men and women"s jobs, it was very straight forward, men did hunting and warfare/defense. Women gathered fruits and veggies and did the childcare including cooking.
