Most especially though, females draw much more attention and hear more critiques from their aggressive behaviour both from their female and male counterparts (hawley, little and card, 2008: 85): women, generally described softer and more interdependent than men, make them the primary preserver of their relationships with men, friends and family (hawley et al. , 2008: 84): women, depicted as less assertive than men, are believed to decrease the effectiveness of physical aggression.
