Some say that people have innate capabilities, innate understanding, innate knowledge. Usually the abilities that core knowledge theories say are given are evolutionary important. Domain speci c: as opposed to piaget"s theories where the development of a system applies to the development of the same system, core knowledge theories is when the development of a system is unrelated to another system. Innate is better described as the ability to develop rather that the being born with it.
